Why are they a leader? –
She is a fourth time world champion and works hard
She has the qualities of a leader even now she is retired.
She is Competitive and fair.
She has won gold medals at the olympics and inspired many people.

Interesting facts about your leader
She was born in Rotorua in 1984
In 2008 she won her first gold medal
Valirie Adamas’ longest throw was 19.65m.

For this task I read some texts and watched some videos on Anzac! After that I did the After Reading task which I enjoyed lots! Here are my after reading slides.

Here are a few sentences on what I would say to a person that had to experience world war 1

Hi I am Zurielle! What is your name? What was it like in war…were you scared? What did you think when you got a note in your mail saying you will be in the war? Did you have a family? What did they think? Was training hard? I bet it was because world war 1 must’ve been scary! Why did you sacrifice your life for us…what about your family? They must’ve been heartbroken so why? Us humans don’t deserve your life! Did you ever wonder what the future would look like? Well there is LOTS of stuff that happens in the future, like COVID 19 which is a disease that makes people ill and die…so lots of people have been in isolation…which is upsetting but it’s not as bad as World War 1 right? Now we have to wear some stupid masks which sucks because they’re SO hard to breath in. Hey, I hope you are alright in Heaven! I know you’re in Heaven no doubt about it! I hope you enjoyed your life! I bet your family loved you lots! But if they didn’t then there are loads more people who love you because of our sacrifice that you made for our country! Before I go I just want to say…thank you lots, goodbye!
